WHAT IMPACT DID WESTERN HAVE ON YOUR LIFE?
Western helped shape the kind of teacher I became. It fostered my sense of independence and my desire to make new discoveries. It encouraged me to explore and take some risks. The foundation and interests I have in theatre, archaeology, English and my love of reading all came from my experience at Western.

WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE MONTHLY TO WESTERN?
Western gave me a great deal in my life and therefore it is a privilege to give back. The money is used very well and I know I am helping others to have as good of an experience as I had. Western is a great place to learn and grow. It remains dynamic today, and alumni can help keep it that way.

HOW DO YOU HOPE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY?
Through my monthly commitment to Western, I’m allowing Western’s administration to plan for the future and use money for projects that are the highest priority for the University. I understand these include supporting students, as well as a broad range of activities, research and expansion projects.

WHAT WOULD YOU TELL OTHERS WHO ARE CONSIDERING GIVING TO WESTERN?
Give as much as you can. Don’t think that even a little bit doesn’t make a difference. It does.
